Vision 3
When the great Khedrup Rinpoche was going through the scriptures which recorded all of the Buddha’s teachings called the Tipitaka or the Three Baskets, Khedrupje found out how noble and incredible his master was with the intent of liberating all sentient beings with clear and concise teachings by the creation of the Lamrim, the Stages of the Path to Enlightenment.
Be it anywhere on this earth, Khedrupje thought to himself the significance and importance of Lama Tsongkhapa’s teachings for one to start one’s practice with the devotion towards one’s Spiritual Guide for it can accumulate merits of a hundred-fold. It is an obvious part of one’s spiritual journey where the training of awareness of the mind (Lojong) is concerned. From there, one progresses towards the stages of the common path (Lamrim). Finally, when one is a fit vessel of the Teachings, the highest set of teachings (Mahamudra) may be conferred and Buddhahood can be attained in this very lifetime itself.
It is at this time he overcame with intense devotion, tears rolled down his cheeks as he may fervent prayers by offering the Mandala to his own Spiritual Guide, the eminent master himself, Manjunatha Lama Tsongkhapa.
Lama Tsongkhapa then appeared in his youthful body of a sixteen year old Majushri seated atop a strong snow lion. He then expounded the Dharma suitable for the degenerate times and exthorted Khedrupje to spread the Teachings in particular the Tantras.
“We will soon meet” ended Lama Tsongkhapa as he told the noble Khedrupje
“O Blessed One, Wisdom Yidam Manjushri Buddha
