For those who are in search for a spiritual way of life, I would humbly like to offer you this few pages of information collected from valid and traditional sources to share with you the beauty of Buddhism in a form intensively practiced over the last 600 years. This tradition named after the heaven where all Buddhas abide before ascending down to earth to be a Universal Monarch is called “Tushita” in Sankrit and “Gaden” in Tibetan is founded by the great scholastic saint Jetsun Dorje Manjunatha Lama Tsongkhapa, or affectionately known to many as Je Rinpoche.
The life of the Great Lama Tsongkhapa created a spiritual renaissance in Tibet as prophesized by the Founder, Buddha Shakyamuni himself 2500 years ago. Many other prophecies pertaining to Lama Tsongkhapa came later as well with the Buddhist saint responsible for bringing Buddhism from India to Tibet, the great Acharya Padmasambhava.
Lama Tsongkhapa’s great achievement in his life was to consolidate all of the Buddha’s teachings in Tibet at that time when the practice of the lineages became adulterated by wrong views of practitioners who thought that the spiritual moral codes were not important to one’s spiritual growth. More and more people were using the name of Dharma-the Buddha’s sacred Doctrine as an excuse to having consorts and other yogic practices which were only conserved to the class of attained Mahasiddhas who go beyond conventions for pure enlightenment whereas these people who practice do not have what it takes.
Kindly initiated by my great Lama, His Eminence Lama Tsem Tulku Rinpoche who hails from one of the world’s greatest scholastic and monastic institutions – Gaden, His Eminence has provided a great deal of information ranging from the spiritual history of ancient Tibet to the relevant information needed on the practice of the Gedan tradition according to Jetsun Manjunatha Lama Tsongkhapa.
His Eminence has stressed many times that the practice of Lama Tsongkhapa’s Guru Yoga is very much efficacious during our times because it is the direct antidote to our daily suffering and difficulties. Lama Tsongkhapa is the embodiment of not one but three Bodhisattvas, namely, Avalokiteshvara; the Buddha of untainted Compassion, Manjushri; the Buddha of sharp and stainless wisdom, and Vajrapani; protector against harms and the Secret.
